Faulty laptop video output – January 2009

One evening, this friend of mine called in for an emergency: there was this laptop, neither very new, nor extremely neat that had been acting up for a couple of days and needed to be taken care of. What I found out was something both random and repeatable: the systematic disruption of the image to the external monitor, or of the independent colors.

What happened?

Hummer with broken wheel – December 2008

We are talking now about a Hummer HX Concept, Burago® product. It’s a model with metal body, PVC chassis and plexi windows. All the parts are fixed (no mobile doors or bonnet) except the wheels.
Technical data: Length = 90mm, Width = 40mm Height = 35mm and Weight = 65g.
Judging from the dimensions and finishing, it appears to be a simple toy car, and not a scale replica…
